As Provoke strengthens its focus on key strategies to help clients make data-driven decisions to enable their digital transformations, we’ve asked Andrew Crider to join us as the new Head of Digital Transformation. He’s passionate about finding innovative ways to use technology to find business value in a client's analytics space.
We asked Andrew about his background and what drives him in work and outside of it.
Q. What’s your background?
A. I’ve spent the last ten years working on the bleeding edge of technology. With a cloud-first focus, I’ve worked on large-scale BI migrations, Digital Transformation Strategies, RPA and AI to build new and exciting solutions for clients' business needs.
Q. Why did you join Provoke?
A. What stood out to me was Provoke's acumen with solution development which aligns well with how the market is progressing. Helping clients with offerings like analytics as a service and RPA will be made easier with their knowledge and prowess in the space.
Q. What will you be doing as the Head of Digital Transformation?
A. I’ll be helping our clients increase their ROI on technology implementations. Reducing infrastructure costs by moving to the cloud, maximizing the value of their data through analytics, or finding new ways of monetization through Machine Learning or Data Science. My job will be to make sure that our clients maximize their technology investment.
Q. What is something few people know about you?
A. I’m a bit crafty and work with wood and resin. I got into this when I was trying to create an underwater dystopian resin sculpture which led me down the path of what to do with the left over resin. I like to make lamps, coasters and art sculptures and to make personal gifts for people to have interesting things to look at on their desks!
Q. An easy one.. what makes you happy?
A. It’s finding and celebrating the uniqueness of life, whether it’s live performance, doing stand-up, creating technology and art. Finding different ways of looking at things that have never been seen before.
Q. What’s your go-to song on Spotify?
A. "Jenny Says" by Cowboy Mouth
